What are Silver Egg Recommendation Messages?

Repro messages containing AI-assisted recommendations provided through the collaboration with Silver Egg Technology's AI service (Aigent Recommender) . Please contact a Customer Success representatives for inquiries.

Silver Egg Recommendation Messages can accomplish the following:

Display AI-assisted recommendations as a message at any position on the screen, at any specified time, to any specified user demographic. Viewing product recommendations no longer requires scrolling to the bottom of the product page. Adjust recommendation types according to page characteristics, and deploy multiple messages to evaluate effective recommendation types through A/B testing.

Flow of using Silver Egg Recommendation Messages

The process of using Silver Egg Recommendation Messages is as follows.

1. Signed a contract with Silver Egg Technology Co.

2. Submit an application to use Silver Egg Recommendation Messages to Repro Inc. through our sales or customer success representative.

3. Set the required items on the dashboard.

4. Adding an implementation.

5. Create a Campaign

Warning

If you want to use Silver Egg Recommendation Messages for in-app messages, you need to use the following Repro SDK.

• iOS: 5.3.0 and above

• Android: 5.2.0 and above

Note

• Condition 1 assumes that you are able to use Silver Egg Technology's Aigent Recommender.

Set the required items on the dashboard.

To enable Silver Egg Recommendation Messages, register necessary information in the plugin settings.

Click on PLUGINS located on the side menu.

After Click on PLUGINS, show the Silver Egg Settings. Input your Merchant ID and Domain provided to you by Silver Egg Technology.

Note

• Please make sure that you input a domain that is specified by Silver Egg Technology Co.

• Silver Egg Recommendation Messages are not available until this registration is completed.

Adding an implementation.

If you are using the SDK for Web, please refer to Setup / SetUserID for additional implementation.If you are using the SDK for mobile apps, please refer to the Silver Egg Recommendation Messages Development Guide .

Create a Campaign

Choosing a template

Go to MARKETING > MESSAGE and click CREATE NEW MESSAGE A template specifically for Silver Egg Recommendation Messages has been added to your web message or In-App message menu. Select this template and create a campaign.

Creating a campaign

The following customizations are available for your recommendation message.

（Web messages only）Position of the message

• You can position the displayed message in either the Top-Left, Top-Center, Top-Right, Middle-Left, Middle-Center, Middle-Right, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Center or Bottom-Right. Please be noted that these position settings can be specified only for Web Message, not for In-App Message.

Overlay

• When you create a message, you can decide whether to include an overlay when the message is displayed. This overlay will cover the entire screen with your message on top. By selecting an overlay, you can stop further actions from the user and draw their entire focus onto the message.If the user clicks a point covered by the overlay, the message with closed along with the overlay.

Close Button

• You can create a message with or without a close button, set on the top-right corner of the message. If you choose to disable the close button, the user will still be able to close the message via the overlay.

Background Colors

• You can customize the background colors of the overlay, message dialog and close button. In the case of the close button, you can also change its icon color.

Header (optional)

• Fill out the header text. You can also set the text color.

Body

• Fill out the body text. You can also set the text color.

（In-App messages only）Button Label

• Fill out the button label text. You can also set the background and text colors.

（In-App messages only）Button Tracking Event Name (optional)

• You can change the name of the collected event when the button is clicked.

Item name

• Customize the text color of the recommended item names. Note that text colors can't be set individually for each item.

Item price

• Customize the text color of the recommended item prices. Note that text colors can't be set individually for each item.

SpecID

• Input your SpecID obtained beforehand from Silver Egg Technology, which determines the recommendation type, pages to display on, etc.

• If you have any questions about SpecID, Contact a Silver Egg Technology's member for inquiries.

• Images and buttons in the message are automatically set to the deeplink that is responded to when Repro SDK requests a recommendation item from Silver Egg Technology as the URL to go to when clicking on it.Please check with your Silver Egg Technology representative to see what specific values are set for deeplink.

Recommendation types

SpecID corresponds to one of the following recommendation types.

Recommendation types	Example
Browse-Browse	Customers that viewed this item also viewed these items.
Order-Order	Customers that purchased this item also purchased these items.
Browse-Order	Customers that viewed this item ended up purchasing these items
Past-Order	Customers that purchased this item later purchased these items

Customize Messages

Silver Egg Recommendation Messages can be customized further with custom web messages and HTML in-app messages. Read more about Custom Message or HTML In-App Message.

Note

Please be careful not to accidentally delete the data-repro--wrapper attribute when using a custom message in a Silver Egg Recommendation Messages. The message will not be shown correctly.
